Plays include: Bloodsummer Rituals based on the life of poet Audre Lorde (Jerome Fellowship, N.Y. premiere), LAMI Playwriting Award for Mother, Father, Lover Man. Current project: This One Girl’s Story (inspired by the proud life of Sakia Gunn) based on a hate crime committed in Newark Jersey in 2003.
