Steven F. Dansky has been a political activist, writer, and photographer. During 2009-10, he wrote several essays for the Gay and Lesbian Review Worldwide, curated a photography exhibit, Gay Liberation Front: A 40th Anniversary Retrospective (New York City), had a one-person photography exhibit, In Public: Studies from the Street (Las Vegas, NV), and published a collection of essays, Bearing Witness: Images and Reflections of the LGBT Movement (1969-1971).
