Joshua Sanchez's debut feature film ‘FOUR’ won the Best Performance Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival, the Best Feature Film Award at the Urbanworld Film Festival, and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. He was awarded the 2016-2017 Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University and the New York Foundation for the Arts Artists' Fellowship in Playwriting/Screenwriting. Currently, he is developing ‘Fire in the Belly’, a biopic about the life and times of controversial visual artist David Wojnarowicz.
