Hooper Schultz (he/him/his) is a PhD student in History and field scholar at the Southern Oral History Program working on the Story of Us, and LGBTQ+ history of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His work in queer history began at the University of Mississippi, where he received his MA and MFA from the Center for the Study of Southern Culture. His interests include rural queer print culture, LGBTQ+ history in the US South, and oral history.
